At last, a stand-alone book by TW :)
This one doesn't strech forever and it's world is very interesting and (I think) unique. Descriptions and creatures are very vivid and beliavable.
And it's a very pleasant reading ;)

*The War of the Flowers* is a good example of a high fantasy by Tad Williams, that will conclude in fewer than 2000 pages. =P

The book is very charming, especially the parts with Applecore. =P However, the only part of the book (one concerning a certain spooky child ^_^;) I thought was really memorable wasn't very well-explained.

One more thing: To like this book, you probably need to get over the urge to giggle everytime you see a name like "Caradenus Primrose."
