“Mouw, now a favorite author of mine, has delivered once again with this fine work. This book is a short study of Isaiah 60, particularly focusing on its description of the New Heavens and New Earth and how it compares with John's vision at the end of Revelation. Mouw points us away from a disembodied heaven as our final existence and toward a creational, material understanding of the New Heavens and New Earth. He examines how Isaiah 60 portrays this new creation, specifically highlighting the issues of culture, economy, race, and politics. A fascinating little book. I highly recommend it!”
