I read this book because i thought that it would be interesting and i previously read the prequel. The storyline is similar to the prequel, except now that the people of the kingdoms are aware of the dragons. The Knights of Solamnia, once a revered group of knights, finds itself being torn apart by greed, corruption, and distrust. The elves are on the brink of war, much like their previous war called "The Kinslayer War". Tanis and the others learn of the existence of good dragons, dragons that once helped fight the evil dragons, but the good dragons are in hiding and protect what is left to help defeat the evil.

Great continuation- I love Lauranna! Again, the plot moves swiftly and we learn more about the characters. And, of course, the great quest and battle between good and evil continues.

Have read about 15 books in the Dragonlance series and each one has lived up to my expectations. It is great to follow favorite people from the books.

All the books by these 2 authors r fantastic! I just keep reading them again and again. My favorite character is, surprisingly, Raistlin Majere (one of the "evil" characters). They just make u love him somehow.

Not bad fantasy books if you are into the role playing game. Recommended

This was the book that I both loved and hated the most out of the three. There was a lot of character depth and growth in this book.

While reading this, I couldn't believe how much the authors were able to make me care about their characters. And I couldn't believe the direction the story went. Wow.
