Gentle story about cousins visiting family members who live far away. All the hugging and talking that transpires fill the pages of this beautiful story!

This book is wonderful to make connections to, especially for those who have a lot of schema for relatives.

This book reminds me of all of the trips I took to Georgia. My family did the exact things as the family in the book did. This book reminds me of why I like to stay in hotels.

A great story to remind us how special time with our families is.

    Our class thinks:
When the relatives came it was funny when they slept all in the same room. They hugged for two pages. It seemed like three hours to us. They had a big dinner, like we have on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I received this book as a gifrt from my sister- in-law when she and her family came to visit from Alabama! She put "Alabama" over Virginia. A real delight, many happy memories. Will read to my grandchildren.

I love this book. I relive all the anticipation of waiting for the relatives to come for a visit. How extraordinary the time was while they visited, and the emptiness of the house and my heart when they head home.
