“For my taste, this is one of the best books of poems I've read. Kooser's straightforward style is just what I like. My favorites are Bank Fishing for Bluegills and A Rainy Morning.
Kooser takes simplicity to new heights. Sometimes you feel, 'I could do this', but of course this is his goal and it takes finely crafted skill.”
