Didn’t Like It“I did not like the ending of this book. However, I was fascinated by how much accurate 20th Century technology Verne wrote into this book. Yes | No“The character's and the story are weak, however the imagination of Jules Verne's view of the future of Paris in 1960 was amazing. Verne imagines 8 horse power cars, high rise living, monorails, evan a calculator. Basically this future is dominated by science and technology with the withering away of liberal arts. There is a lot of reference to Paris of the 1860, which went over my head.”
