Ian and Judith's love story is very sweet. There isn't a whole lot of action, but just the same it's a thrilling book. ♥

I truly enjoy the authors who bring something from the past and give it our modern feelings , thoughts and issues . Makes them seem less like strangers I study at History class and seem more like modern people I befriend through the novel .

Julie Gradwood brings the old scot men . Yes the big , scary , emotionless and ruthless me and turns them to amazing potentail of being the perfect men .

It took me quite some time to finish this book, which was certainly not because of the story, which I loved. The chemistry between the main characters was very good.
