Murder mystery with courtroom story, missing children story, and love story paralleling at the same time. Easy to read with very short chapters to keep you going. Entertaining, not excellent.

It was OK. Again everything is cleared up and all tidy in a matter of seconds, with little or no drama. None of the cases had anything to do with each other. Basically disappointed.

    *SPOILER ALERT*
I thought it was a good story (I listened to the audio version, actually) and found it fast paced. It had the cliche edge-of-the-seat intensity to it. But was anyone a little let down at the end? Where exactly did all these crimes tie in togethter?

I sure am glad to read a comment like bethbs. I thought it was just me. It was a very odd story kind of all over the place and the worst of the womens murder club series. The sad thing is that I felt the same about Cross. Maybe James is pumping out the books a little to fast
