She’s searching for something missing in her life, and she’s looking in all the wrong places. One night after bringing yet one more mistake home from the bar, she walks out of the shower to find strange men in her apartment. Jacob “Jake” Trent has been sent on an assignment to protect Shannon Murphy. He’s still trying to figure out if this is a real assignment or if he’s being punished, when Jake walks in on Shannon’s kidnapping-in-progress. Quickly changing from man to wolf, he immobilizes her assailants and rescues a drugged Shannon from their clutches. Now that Jake knows the enemy knows where she lives, he has to get her far away. WOLF TALES III is one of the hottest, sexiest books I have read in a long time. Kate Douglas knows how to turn up the heat with characters brimming with potent sexuality. Shannon and Jake are attracted to each other from the beginning, and it doesn’t take long for them to act on their attraction. In bed, they find a connection with each other that they have never felt with another. Jake prays that Shannon is a member of the shape-shifting Chanku race that he belongs to. He can’t imagine letting her go, but if she’s nothing more than human, he will have to. This book is about a race of extremely sexual beings. Some of the scenes include multiple partners and same-sex partners. If this is not your thing, this may not be the book for you. However, if you want sexuality that will take you to the edge and right over it, WOLF TALES III is a must read. Be sure to check out Kate Douglas’ earlier WOLF TALES. ”
