This was the first (and very likely the last) Patterson book I have read. I guess I expected more from an author on the best seller list. I felt this book was predictable up to and including the plot twist on the last page. I almost quit reading the book about 50 pages in, but decided it may get better if I finished...it didn't. I don't think I have ever felt like I had wasted my time on a book. I can't say that any more.
