“I've truly enjoyed reading "The Black Magician" Trilogy. Well written, great twists, and an enjoyable new world, with complex characters. Definitely suggest this to fantasy fans.
The last book, The "The High Lord" completes the saga and details a war between the Guild and Black Magicians. We learn more about Akkarin, the High Lord; his history is revealed, why and how he became a Black Magician. The second book ended with me disliking Akkarin, while rooting for Sonea--without giving away too much- be ready to root for Akkarin in this last installation.
