Not my most favorite volume in the Fables collection, but you do get some of Bigby's back story. And despite Snow' water breaking in the end of the last book you don't get to that until halfway through this one. Along with the birth the Fable Town election is held and some staff changes are made.

This volume is excellent and one of the best in the series. The last issue in the collection brings me to tears.

Snow White is having her cubs, Prince Charming and King Cole are fighting over the mayorship of Fabletown and Bigby's past deeds are told.

This was the fifth book in the Fables graphic novel series. I like parts of this and other parts I wasn't as interested in. I really enjoyed the cubs and found them pretty funny. I did get a little bored of the recounting of old war stories but as I said, I did fnd parts of this to be very good.

Not much new happens in the Fables storyline in this volume. Despite the last volume ending with Snow White's water breaking, we have to read about half the book before we get back to that plotline. There's a somewhat fun Bigby Wolf vs. Frankenstein's monster story. Finally, Snow White gives birth, and then there's the series of murders no one can figure out. There's still very little in hooks, and instead of taking a panel to show/tell us something, it gets drawn out for a page (or more).

Further exploits from the Fables. The story focuses primarily on Snow, Bigby, and their new family.
