“Read in 2008-2009. Essays about life as an ex-pat married to a French man with two young children. Each essay incorporates one new French word and its everyday use in France. Fun to see families everywhere are pretty much the same and not all ex-pats live in the lap of luxury with only the finest of food and drink. Great to see an American living with the locals not just intereacting with the shopkeepers. Similar to Mary Coffman-Burke's essays.”
