“First in the Elvis Cole series, with Elvis and partner Joe Pike getting involved in a case of murder, drug theft and kidnapping.
I wasn't too sure at first, but I soon warmed to Elvis's sardonic sense of humour and particularly to enigmatic badass Joe. The plot was nothing special but the style is punchy and the character dynamics good. Will read more.”
