Didn’t Like It “I guess it just wasn't my kind of humor. I've read some funny McSweeney pieces and this book sounded very promising, but it was a huge let-down. “I don't laugh outloud while reading that often. This collection is hilarious. It's the first time I've really read any McSweeney's, and I'll probably read more. Go here http://www.mcsweeneys.net/archives/ and read some McSweeney's and laugh. Laugh! It's funny because just the day before I was slamming postmodernity and I don't know if this counts as "postmodern fiction" ... Borrow it from your friends. "Fire is the Next Sharp Stick" was good, as was the http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2003/04/23fellowship.html also known as "Unused Audio Commentary By Howard Zinn & Noam Chomsky, Recorded Summer, 2002, for The Fellowship of the Ring (Platinum Series Extended Edition) DVD, Part Two"”
