“Matt Reilly can execute an action sequence like nobody's business. But that couldn't save this book for me. I rarely say this, but it was just too gonzo for me. I won't spoil the McGuffin, but I couldn't suspend my disbelief.
Also, it was obvious to me that he did very little research on military operations, tactics, or techniques. That distracted me, but for many people it probably won't make a whisper of difference. I didn't like this book, but I know others who did.”
