“This book was a typical James Patterson. I really like Patterson's books and this one was no exception. I probably only rated it three instead of my usual four stars because I have read a lot of his books recently, and am getting a little tired of them. Also, I started reading this book 6 months ago, got about halfway through, had too much work to do for grad school, then came back to finish it later. If I had read it straight through, maybe that would have changed things. I just didn't find myself enjoying this book as much as I have some of the others. I felt more like I was just reading it to get through it rather than out of pure enjoyment.
As I have said before, I like the Alex Cross books, but just can't get into them as much as I can the Women's Murder Club series. I'm not sure why. They are all very similar.
It was still a good book and definitely an easy read. I just may decide to put James Patterson on hold for a little while and look for something totally different in the meantime.”
