“An interesting read for those who want true, gritty, no-holds-barred, commentary by actual gang members. The drawback is that it comes from interviews with gang members in the early '90s. I work with gang members on a frequent basis today, however, and I can tell you that much of it hasn't really changed. This is a good introduction for people wanting to get "into the heads" of gang members. Just know that, like any compilation of interviews, it does not represent all gang members.”
