“I read small portions of this book in english class and I enjoyed it a lot. it was very informative and taught me a lot of what i needed to know about reek mythology. It was and still is a great source for looking up greek myths and to find out information about the greek gods and goddesses. This helped me out a lot when we were all looking up certain stories to reenact in english class. Although i did not read the full book i got a sense of what the book was like and how the author wrote. Overall, i thought it was somewhat boring, but on the other hand it was very informative and it is a very good source if you want to research greek gods. ”

My only complaint is that, while Greek mythology takes up six whole parts, only one measly sub-section is devoted for Norse myths. But all aside, the first six parts are the best. ;)”

This became a Bible for me later on being a preteen delving into the world of mythology (specifically Greek, Roman and Norse) and I had no problems with this book serving as a guide. I found this book a great introductory reference material for those who want to learn more about mythology. I found it very organized but not as comprehensive (knowing how extensive the world of mythology is). But this was a good start for me.”
