A great little book. Similar to Wilson's Prometheus Rising, although it comes across as a much more responsible book. Where PR strayed into complete speculation in the second half, QP mainitains a grip (albeit loose) on being practical and reasonable throughout. Covers a variety of topics, with the overall focus being modern quantum physics and special relativity theory and human psychology and cognitive perception. Basically our science is in the 21st century, but our personal interpretations of reality are stuck back in the days of Newton.

Very very deep thoughts. Yet, the language is simple enough to make it a quick reading. Now, thinking about it all, that is another question. The handy thought / discussion exercises help you tackle the profound realization that Wilson is trying to lead you to. Once you grasp it.... wow... You will never see the world in the same way again!
