Howard Gardner, Prof. at Harvard University school of education, investigates the theory that intelligences are not limited to simply linguistic or mathematical intelligences, as we are commonly used to in most educational settings. He explores a number of theories, which are largely ignored but which are as vitally important as the two mentioned in our everyday living.

This book is a real eye opener. I would recommend it especially for educators.
