“This was the very first Stephen Jay Gould book I ever bought. I picked it up in the gift shop at the Ontario Science Centre, opened it up in the coffee shop and was forever hooked on Gould's funny, clever and insightful essays. As someone who has family members that are stalwart supporters of creationism, and who have sought to force the schools in their area to portray evolution as a theory only, I've come to believe that this is one of the biggest challenges we face to science education today. And you also get to learn a lot about a bit of everything at the same time!!”
