  “I’ve read authors who have quoted Buechner but have never read anything by him until now. His writing is very different and sometimes it’s hard to follow him. I did enjoy him somewhat. I liked the idea that it’s important to communicate the truth and also the Gospel as good news in the middle of a horrible world, news that is wonderful and whimsical.”
