This book is shorter than Atlas Shrugged, which I also read, but no less didactic. It's Ayn Rand. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Laura recommended this to me as a first Ayn Rand selection. I've tried to read Atlas Shrugged several times, but couldn't get through it. I really enjoyed this short tale of extreme censorship and government control. Maybe now I'll make it through a larger novel by Rand!

This is an interesting book. I guess I didn't like it as much as other books I've read, particularly after just reading the Red and the Black.

    Interesting premise. Dry reading, though.

A wonderful, yet scary, novel about our future. Say "I"!

Seems overly simplistic though it is a thought-provoking allegory...
