“Ultimately, this was a B- for me. The suspense plot was cliche and unnecessary. Also didn't care for the "entry in a series" aspect of it and skimmed all but the first love scene. The stuff between St. Vincent and Evie was pretty good, although I went back and forth between reading her name as "Eve-y" and "Ehv-y." Not sure which it was supposed to be.”
