I just finished this book, my first Lisa Kleypas novel. I really liked this story. While many novels have a "rake" as the male lead, I liked Sebastian's character. Kleypas gave him more depth than many rakes seem to have in other novels I've read, meaning he really acted like a rake as opposed to just being called one.

This is one of my very favorite books. I love Sebastian. I am one of the few, it seems, who loves the whole "rake finds the one woman of his dreams" idea. I appreciate how Evie is able to put her difficulties with speech aside when she's in Sebastian's presence and that he makes her feel that comfortable even on a subconscious level. It's almost perfect to me and probably one of the few books that I reread quite frequently.

Also my favorite of the series by far. And one of the best romances I have ever read.
The transformation of Evie and Sebastian from the secondary characters we thought we knew to who they really were was amazing!!!
