The British author seems to know lots more about Thailand than the average tourist, and the differences in cultural expectations stay with me still. ”

I once spent 2 months in Thailand, and I'm absolutely sure that has bumped up my level of enjoyment. Additionally, I am a Buddhist, so my interest was assured!
