  “I'm almost finished with this now. I wouldn't say he's as funny as David Sedaris, but I don't think he's trying to be that funny. He has a lot of great essays from his life in this collection. With his downcast vision of the world, and dry humor, I relate well to these stories.
  
  I know his work from my favorite radio show, 'This American Life'. This collection includes several I've heard before, including 'Christmas Freud', which is fabulous. I'm very taken with "Back to the Garden' which is one I haven't heard before
  
  I'm going to read his other book of essays next, as he is coming to speak in a town near me next month.”

  “Very literati. Not sure what that means, but it sounds very intellegenti. Spellchecker is telling me that's not a word. I make the rules here! (spellchecker is also telling me spellchecker is not a word.) This is a good book. I highly recommend you read it if you want to be cool. -M”
