  “So far, I like the book, especially that the characters have no idea of how the technology works or what they are doing. What bothers me is that the name of one of the characters seems to have changed from initial reviews of the book. There is good character development, which to me is very important. And I like the idea that Margaret begins to discover that the narrative element of observation is just as important as the unemotional scientific data that she has been writing. ”

  “I have enjoyed several of RCW's books (Chronoliths, Spin) but this was not one of my favorites. Too many unexplained and implausible happenings with "mirror girl" and a small wooden character list made the story dry and unappealing to me.”
