“Jay Mohr is truly a comedic talent. Unfortunately, he's not a particularly great writer. But I love the institution of SNL and this book definitely makes a contribution to that legacy. But it also feels like there are things missing. The little moments Mohr goes into working behind the scenes with some of comedy's finest are hilarious, interesting and sometimes even touching. But you find yourself wishing he'd put a few more of these moments in the book. The whole thing reads like a bunch of things that happened to him instead of a cohesive look at his two years on the show, but if you're a fan (of Mohr or SNL) you will appreciate quite a bit of this book.”
