“i like this book, i like the ideal behind the plot. the concept if you will. jane green has a way of writing books that have a unique voice to them even if the topic has been done before hers are new and fresh faced somehow”

An interesting idea about swapping the life of a spoiled "desperate housewife" from the suburbs of Manhattan with a single, trendy woman from London. They each learn the grass isn't always greener on the other side.”

I started it twice with no success. the third time finally paid off. I read it in about a week. It was good, enjoyable, and where as i recommend it, I would start with other books of hers to really fall in love with her.”

The beginning (maybe 60-80 pages) made me feel like 'let's get this show on the road!' but once I got into it, I enjoyed the story line more. It's about viewing life with 'the grass is greener' mentality and how that's not always the case. The ending was abrupt and disappointing (but maybe was written for a sequel).”

I would recommend Jane Green's book Bookends over this one. I don't think I am spoiling anything by stating that one's life is always has some problems, no one lives a perfect life. You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone.”

This book is great, not at all as superficial as you would think when reading the plot. The characters are likable and there is something about the way Jane Green writes that makes them seem real somehow.”
