“I'm glad I got this one from the library and didn't buy it. It was okay. But not nearly as good as her early work. There was a lot of build up before the story got started. And I was disappointed with the way Green took the character of Daniel. Honestly, if I were reading it I might have give up. But since I listened to the audio version, I found it a little more compelling. (The narration by Rosalyn Landor was outstanding.)On the whole I'd say skip it and either read someone else or re-read Jemina J.”
“Maybe it's just me - but I had to give up on this one and that is RARE for me. It was just so sloooooow... Rarely do I put a book down before I finish it, but I just could not get into the story or the characters AT ALL here. I turned it back into the library without a 2nd thought about what I might have missed. I'm glad y'all liked it!”
