“I think his first three were the best. After that, they got a bit formulaic. His world is inventive and engaging.”

“I owe Mr. Anthony a debt. It was while gobbling down my 10th Xanth book as an early teen it began to dawn on me that boring re-hashes of the same old silly tropes actually CAN convince someone completely hypnotized by the superficial appearances and shallow details of this literary ghetto that consuming this garbage is a complete fucking waste of time.
