This is a 6 book series that i loved. Some of my friends loved it and some didn't. if you like epics and sci fi, you'll like it i think. Jim and I were both truly sad when we reached the end of the last book.

This was an interesting series, but I gave up around book four when I realized it was a SIX book series. I just got tired of waiting to see how it was going to wrap up. I felt suckered when I realized the first two-part series was not a full story, then totally foolish when I realized that the second pair was not the end either. It is a trilogy of two-part series. Way too long and bloated.
