i love artemis fowl. sooo clever!
it waz kind of slow and boring at first, but then it got a better.
Ewww- I hate this book. The most ridiculous piece written ever! I mean - why would ANYONE read Eoin's books? He's lousy at writing!
I think they are all incredibly clever. The universe he created with the fairy people is absolutely amazing! You should read The Last Colony. It is the most recent Artemis book. I think it is the best in the series.
i like it
i really loved this book and the whole series i don't know what you are talking about susmi
Sumsi--It ok for you to think that, but can you give us some specific reasons why? I would enjoy having an open conversation.
I, on the other hand, am quite fond of Eion Colfer's novels. I think that he is is a wonderful childrens author and deserves his credit. I enjoyed this story as much as the others, and I think that this series is more modernized and relatable to children as opposed to worlds as we see in "Harry Potter". My specific expamiles of this would be the modern view of mythical creatures and the technological aspects of the wold that Aretmis lives in.
Well- I have just started reading this book not too long ago and so I won't know the whole story. I finished reading Chapter 1 and my perspective of this book is too unique. I didn't know this was about mythical creatures such as fairies, pixies and all those others until I started reading. Anyways so far this book is about a boy name Artemis Fowl which is ironic because that is the name of the book. In the book it talks about how the human and the fairy worlds are colliding. I not for sure if Artemis is a human or a mythical creature, because when I read more it said he was actually a fairy . I guess he was a human boy a first, but what ever mess he got into from the previous episode book he is now introduce to be a fairy and his mind was brain washed. Then is goes straight to a girl pixie name Opal Koboi which is captured , but she fakes to be in a coma so that she can't be killed so she is put in a Clinic to be revive in a place called Haven City. Koboi supposedly was a betrayal of her kind so she ran away and now she wants surgery to change her appearance so she can get on with her life and not have to worry about having so many enemies. This book is getting real interesting, but I just might want to re-read to understand it more.
Why does she want to get surgery? Why doesn't she just face her enemies and get it over with it? Why does she have to hide and run away?
