I remember reading Absolutely Normal Chaos by this author first and I liked it but it wasn't the most memorable book I've ever read. So when I opened this book I wasn't expecting anything special. I love being wrong sometimes.

This is a great book. I don't which to love more, the quirky characters or the wonderful story. I'm glad I gave it a chance.

I haven't read it in such a long time, though. I should dust it off and give it a read.

    Excellent book!

This was this year's 4th grade class first read aloud book. How engaging! The relationships are quite rich. The multiple stories that are intertwined really keep all focused so as not to miss details.

The reading level is a bit high for the class, but as a read aloud, this works perfectly.

Blackberry kisses, lunatics, murder, love, and death. Books are not more entertaining than this one. This one is a tear-jerker.
