If you like Ancient Greek Mythology this is the book for you! Even if you don’t, you still need to listen!

Right now, I have been reading a book call The Lightning Thief, written by Rick Riordan.

Loved this book. Comparable to Harry Potter. The main character, Percy or Perseus Jackson, is a half-blood: half-god and half-mortal. When he finds out who he is, he is sent to a special summer camp on the east end of Long Island, for others just like himself. Shortly after he arrives, the camp learns he is the son of Poseidon and he is sent off on a most dangerous quest to stop a world war that would be incited by the anger of the gods if a lightning bolt is not returned to Mount Olympus.

It feels like Harry Potter in all the right ways...so far. If you like mythology and gods and goddesses, this is a compelling modern spin.

This is one of the best books I have ever read! At first I didn't think I would like it. But, from the very first page it had me. I couldn't put it down.

This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He finds out he is a demigod(a half mortal, half god) but not just any demigod. He is the son of the sea, Poseidon's Son. This is special because Poseidon, Zeus and Hades swore not to have any kids because they were to powerful. But Zeus, broke that promise and now so did Poseidon.
Zeus's master bolt had gone missing and Percy Jackson is now the prime suspect. Percy Jackson and his two friends will travel together to clear Percy's name.

This book was amazing! I think it's by far the best in the series. It was really funny, and it was hard to put down. I loved it like crazy. I'd definitely recommend it!
