It's a great story has a great setting. This is truly a book that can be made into a film (possibly). It touches many controversial world issues, mainly racism. The book lets the hear from both sides of the human race as the world is separated, one side being to supposedly poor and powerless...

This is an AMAZING book! It's about the love between a Cross girl, Sephy, and a nought boy, Callum. I don't want to tell how it ends; however, I had cried when I finished. I full-heartly recommend you this touchy book which makes you think about discrimination and black-white relationship. There are more books about their story if you're interested. I can't wait to read them all!

It's about noughts and crosses(african americans- white men) noughts are white people. And they switched roles. It has romance, conflict and a bit politics I guess. I like it but I think Malorie Blackman the author exaggerated too much. But still it's really cool.

    one of my favourtie series
interesting to read, and i love how the goes through the life of each character, describing the situations from different points of view, and following the characters emotions and actions
i think the series gets better as it goes on but the first book is great to read on its own

Two young people are forced to make a stand in this thought-provoking look at racism and prejudice in an alternate society.

Sephy is a Cross -- a member of the dark-skinned ruling class. Callum is a Nought -- a “colourless” member of the underclass who were once slaves to the Crosses. The two have been friends since early childhood, but that’s as far as it can go. In their world, Noughts and Crosses simply don’t mix. Against a background of prejudice and distrust, intensely highlighted by violent terrorist activity, a romance builds between Sephy and Callum -- a romance that is to lead both of them into terrible danger. Can they possibly find a way to be together?

This book is a wonderful book about racism, love and overcoming the problems. Callum, a nought, is treated as a second-class citizen in the country and Sephy, a Cross, is a daughter of the one of the most important men in the country. They have been living as 'friends' since they were little kids, but something is changing as they grow up. And while these happen, the pressure on them begins to get harder.

It's the story of two lovers from opposite sides of community! That's a nice book. And what makes it nice is it's difference from real life. In that book the parts of the community has upsided down! Read it! Just read it!
