Great autobiography that gives real insight in Iran, Iraq, the life in the middle east, and the rise of Islamic fundamentalism.

(Not the smallest revelation is the role the British played in deposing the Shah in Iran and paving the way for Ayatollah Khomeini and the rule of the mullahs.
