You should watch Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary before reading this book. 90% of the letters were written in response to the movie. The letter from Specialist Willy titled ‘President Doesn’t Care’ reminded me of the Bush Doctrine when he wrote that his platoon sergeant said ‘If you decide you want to kill a civilian that looks threatening, shoot him. I’d rather fill out paperwork than get one of my soldiers killed by some rag head’. Isn’t that sound familiar? Yes. Bush himself said a similar...
