“Follett is one of those popular writers who I didnt read much. This book was a runner up for a mystery award. Good story, well written and fairly interesting. I do plan to try his other books. ”

“I think the word I am looking for is underwhelmed. Everyone praises Ken Follett relentlessly but I think Whiteout must be counted as one of his lesser efforts. Not as much of a page turner as I had hoped the book really does not begin to steamroll until well past the halfway mark, and by then it is too little too late. ”
