“The long, flowing sentences of this book perfectly matched the serenely beautiful Norwegian countryside setting. I really enjoyed the main character, both his 15-year-old self in 1948 and his 67-year-old present day self. I also enjoyed the flash forward/ flash back structure that revealed bits and pieces to resolve the mystery.”
