I'm cheating since I've read these as the webcomic (megatokyo.com) long before Fred started printing them as books. A fun story about two college-aged Americans stuck in Tokyo, goths, robot girls, voice actresses, comic book stores, high school drama, police men with mechs, rent-a-zillas, and magical girls all rolled into one. Really imaginitive, but Fred manages to keep it all grounded in real life.
