this book was vastly entertaining, the story moves along quickly and it has just a touch of the paranormal in it to keep it unique. the only thing i couldnt get into was how much angst there was in prince charming, jeez!

An enjoyable book - a bit heavy on the sex scenes, but great with fantasy. I am looking forward to reading more by this author - a bit hard to get in to at first.

This is the story of Prince Damien of Nvengaria, who, as the result of a magical prophecy, journeys to England in search of a princess to marry in order to unite his kingdom. He finds the woman of his dreams in Miss "Twice-a-Jilt" Penelope Trask. Now the question is, in the midst of multiple assassination attempts, wild magic, and in the face of overwhelming desire, can the most famous lover in all of Europe convince this infuriating country miss that they are meant for each other?

I found this book to be a very sweet regency romance. It is the first book of the Nvengaria series & I am definitely going to look for other books in the series! I give it five stars.

Jennifer Ashley has written a lovely novel fully with magic and paranormal aspects in it. The characters are fascinating with delightful human whims and lovely humour. I cannot tell you other then I really like this story, to pull into a world full with romance, phantasy and humour.
The dominant attractive Prince Damien know exactly what he wants and goes after it. And when the lady in question will not cooperates, he will does anything to change that.
Penelope is a very powerful young lady. After two failed engagements she wants to enjoy her life and her fairy-tales. And when she finally meets her own prince, she doesn’t know how to react and runs from him.
