“I read the first novel; liked it. The story sucks you in, and the characters are pretty amazing. And now I've finished all three. What a story! The ending is anticlimactic because I figured out what happened partway through the 2nd novel. But it was still a great read.”

Complex, mythical, full of the richness of life. So many novels resort to leering, sneering, or despairing as a substitute for profundity. This one is an exception. Davies was a master.”

Instead you find yourself rising to the challenge, while still enjoying the tale immensely. ”
