Maurice is a talking cat. Together with his educated rodents, a group of intelligent rats, and the boy Keith he goes from city to city being a plaque. The town can hire Pied Piper Keith to lure them out of the city. The money they receive for that they share. But the rats no longer want to work with Maurice because they want to start their own civilization. Maurice ask them to join him once more for the last big job. But this time it could be their really last job...
