  “This is a book that every poet should read and own Nikki Giovanni is one of my favorite poet's that I have had the pleasure of reading....I have a favorite Poem that is in the book and it is called " Ego Trippin ". I think that every woman should read and keep this poem handy.. So when the things in life gets her down, she can reflect on this poem and be enpowered and reminded that she is a woman of substance....”

  “Nikki Giovanni has been my favorite poet for years. I was thrilled when I moved to Blacksburg and learned that she was a professor at Virginia Tech.”
