Couldn't choke down this one.... I much preferred Steven Levy's Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution, and its account of the past in the computing culture. However I do believe that I am asking for an "apples vs. oranges" argument in stating that, but just barely. The story seems dry and...

    Couldn't choke down this one.... I much preferred Steven Levy's Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution, and its account of the past in the computing culture. However I do believe that I am asking for an "apples vs. oranges" argument in stating that, but just barely. The story seems dry and fact loaded but lacks perspective.
