Rosenberg does a great job with current affairs and end times prophecy.

I'm not one of those end-timers, but this was a very entertaining book.

It was good, but a lot more preachy than the first 2 in the series

This ficitional account of one of the Bible's most well-known prophecies is action-packed from beginning to end.

The Ezekiel Option feels like it was ripped from today's newspaper headlines. From Russia's displeasure with the United States to the Russian leader's warmongering rhetoric, almost everything about this book brings to mind the "awakening bear" that is Russia today and the cunning czar Putin who is looking more Gog-esque everyday.

A political thriller. A diplomatic nightmare. And I love it.

Indeed, it is a Tom Clancy-ish kind of fiction which, when turned into a movie, could turn out to be CSI-ish. A page turner that will keep anyone at the edge of his seat.

Based from Ezekiel Chapters 37-38, this books gives us a contemporary view of a Biblical prophecy: The attack of Gog and its allies against Israel. And how the Lord made (or will make, for that matter) Himself known to all mankind.

The protagonists' passion for love, peace and survival gives a strong human connection. The antagonists' greed for power and cruelty would make one cringe.

Read it and be amazed. It is a good leisure reading material especially while on leave. :)

A uniquely modern interpretation of the Bible's prophesied end of days, this is one of those rare novels of the Christian fiction genre that isn't preachy (a pleasant surprise). It has all the elements of a good thriller; the heart lurching portion there being that this interpretation could be very plausible, given the nature of global politics today. I had the goosebumps with this one.
