I read this book ages ago but I always had the impression that her husband was converted by the other men.......I also think that this is generally the way both of the movie versions presented the story

Did the husband know?
Maybe I missed something but I couldn't quite figure out if the husband knew what he was getting into when he moved to Stepford (and that's why he wanted to move there), or if he was converted/convinced by the men AFTER the family moved. I kind of think it matters, even though the end result is the same.posted 6 years ago.
